The air-Q is not intended for mobile use. The sensors built into the device “calibrate” themselves room-specific – a perfect picture of the specific air quality of the room can only be provided after a while.
Nevertheless, it is possible to place the air-Q at other locations as long as the power supply (e.g. via a power bank) is ensured. If this supports the “charge through” or “pass through charging” function, the power bank can also be used as a fail-safe by charging the power bank and simultaneously supplying the air-Q with mains power. In the event of a power failure, there is at most a small gap due to a short restart and after the automatic switch to the power bank, measurement continues as usual. This can be useful if additional fail-safety is desired.
