Yes, the air-Q detects smoke of any type very quickly and well. Smoke is, chemically speaking, fine dust. The fine dust sensor used in the device is particularly sensitive. Even to cigarette smoke, even if it is not visible at all, the sensor reacts immediately. In addition to fine dust, cigarette smoke also produces carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides and VOC gases, which the air analyzer also detects with its own sensors.
