With longer operating time and/or transport of the air-Q it can happen that dust or dust grains are deposited on the fine dust sensor. The fine dust measured value is then permanently high and no longer fluctuates.
This can be remedied by tapping lightly against the air-Q, e.g. by gently tapping it with the underside on the table (please not sideways so that the sensors do not fall out), and/or by blowing lightly into the air-Q. This releases the fine dust sensor from the fine dust sensor. This will loosen the fine dust from the fine dust sensor.
The air inlet of the fine dust sensor can also be carefully cleaned with compressed air. The device must be opened for this purpose. When using compressed air, make sure that you do not damage the sensors and do not “press” the dust further into the fine dust sensor due to the high pressure. We therefore advise against cleaning the fine dust sensor with compressed air.
