With extended operation and/or transportation of the air-Q, dust or particles may accumulate on or inside the fine dust sensor, potentially clogging it. As a result, the fine dust readings may remain consistently high without fluctuations, or the sensor may become louder than usual.
This issue can be resolved by gently tapping the air-Q—for example, by holding it upright and lightly tapping its base on a table—and/or by gently blowing into the device from underneath. In most cases, this should dislodge the accumulated particles.
The air inlet of the fine dust sensor can also be carefully cleaned using compressed air. To do this, the device must be opened. When using compressed air, take care not to damage the sensors or force dust deeper into the fine dust sensor due to the high pressure.
