The air-Q has an integrated fire alarm that triggers an acoustic and visual alarm on the device.
Optionally, the alarm can also be configured as a push message. The air-Q also functions as an extended smoke detector.
The following measured values apply to the fire alarm:
- Carbon monoxide (CO) more than 200 ppm
- Temperature (T) more than 70 °C
- Particulate matter (PM₁) more than 400 µg/m³
- Particulate matter (PM₂,₅) more than 500 µg/m³
- Particulate matter (PM₁₀) more than 600 µg/m³
