You can start a firmware update in the smartphone app under SETTINGS (cog wheel on the device card on the dashboard) –> UPDATES
An update can also be initiated via the device website. To do this, the air-Q must be in the WLAN in order to be able to download the update.
Manual update of the firmware.
The firmware can also be updated manually without an internet connection. The files to be used differ depending on whether you want to update from version 1.87.6 and earlier or from a 2.X.X version.
Please perform the following steps:
- Download the firmware files.
- If you are using FW 1.87.6 or earlier, use the following files: File 1 + File 2
- You are using FW 2.0.0 Beta or later – use the following files: File 1 + File 2
- Switch off the air-Q and remove the SD card from the air-Q.
- Copy the files to the root directory of the SD card.
- Insert the SD card back into the air-Q and connect it to the power.
The air-Q installs the new firmware automatically and then starts normal operation again
