This can have different causes. Many different sensors for air quality are incorporated into the air-Q indices for health and performance. For example, the health index is based on the legal requirements and limit values of the German Federal Environmental Agency and the WHO. The air-Q performance index incorporates various studies on the effects of the individual gases measured by the air-Q on mental and physical performance.
The air-Q performance index incorporates various studies on the effects of each gas measured by the air-Q on mental and physical performance.
The most common reason for both indices being in the red zone can be the VOC value, which is included in both indices. The VOC sensor reacts very sensitively to disinfectants or cleaning agents and can then rise sharply.
If such substances are often used, e.g. in medical practices, the index calculation can be modified by selecting “medical facility” as the room type. In this way, the VOC measured value will no longer have any influence on the air-Q air quality indices. However, the VOC value will still be output via the air-Q app.
It is possible to set different LED themes on the air-Q. Thus, the LED display on the air-Q can be configured individually.
